ABOUT THIS SUMMIT

What if suffering is rooted in trauma our ancestors experienced decades, or even centuries, in the past? What if the traumas and triumphs from generations past are stored in our bodies and our brains, and live on in our collective narratives and the very fabric of our beings? In this one-day transformative One-day Summit we will explore these questions and seek to connect to these experiences in our bodies in order to break or shift these intergenerational cycles. We’ll discover how to connect to our ancestors’ suffering with healing reverence but also how to find authentic freedom through reclaiming our destinies.

This summit’s world-leading embodiment experts include Dr. Teresa Lau, Efu Nyaki, Magogodi Makhene, Dr. Ruby Gibson, and Nir Esterman.

Touching into the Gap Between Self-Care and Self-Love: A Hands-on Approach to Regard

A 75-MINUTE EXPERIENTIAL SESSION

Healing and even intergenerational healing is mediated through our body's nervous system, and often the quickest way to change our relationship to pain and trauma is literally at the tips of our fingers. This session introduces the power and science of touch as a means to create opportunities for connection with ourselves and each other. Leveraging what we know about neurophysiology, let's rewrite the rules of self-care to make room for self-love.

Euphrasia “Efu” Nyaki

7:45am PDT (Los Angeles) / 10:45am ET (New York) / 2:45pm GMT (London) / 4:45pm CET (Paris) / 12:45am AEST (Sydney)

Make Peace With Your Past So That You May Live Fully Today For A Better Tomorrow

A 75-MINUTE EXPERIENTIAL SESSION

There is so much trauma that happens today in our planet earth that we are aware of its occurrence in the past. Beginning with our own families we also see the patterns of repetitions of the traumatic events that happened to our ancestors. In this one hour and fifteen minutes I will help you reveal the secret behind our unconscious behavior that creates suffering for our today’s generation and probably the suffering will continue for the coming generations if we do not learn how to heal it today.

Magogodi Makhene

9:30am PDT (Los Angeles) / 12:30pm ET (New York) / 4:30pm GMT (London) / 6:30pm CET (Paris) / 2:30am AEST (Sydney)

Antiracism: From Guilt & Overwhelm to Real Joy Doing The Work

A 75-MINUTE EXPERIENTIAL SESSION

You know white supremacist patriarchy is in the water but you're stuck in overwhelm at how to unrooting it. You wanna speak up and take action, but worry about canceling folks you love or doing antiracism wrong. How can you speak with confidence and make real change?

In this interactive masterclass, I'll walk you through turning your pain and rage against racism into radical love in action. We'll learn from powerhouses like Audre Lorde and bell hooks. And best believe, we'll get grounded in our bodies. Come ready to move, bring water, your pencil and journal.

Dr. Ruby Gibson

11:15am PDT (Los Angeles) / 2:15pm ET (New York) / 6:15pm GMT (London) / 8:15pm CET (Paris) / 4:15am AEST (Sydney)

Somatic Archaeology®

A 75 MINUTE EXPERIENTIAL SESSION

Somatic Archaeology© is a body-based transgenerational recovery approach that utilizes the ancient Medicine Wheel, breathwork, aromatherapy, neurophysiology, biogeneaology, and stress management to create personal and generational healing.

Developed by Dr. Ruby in 1995, the practice of Somatic Archaeology© simply stated, is the process of becoming whole by curing your amnesia and remembering your stories. When you dig, you remember, and when you remember, history is revealed, and when history is revealed, you clearly recognize the trail of stories that formulate your life. This knowledge affords you choices and restores to you the power to manifest your unique destiny in a conscious way.

Nir Esterman

1pm PDT (Los Angeles) / 4pm ET (New York) / 8pm GMT (London) / 10pm CET (Paris) / 6am AEST (Sydney)

Intergenerational Shadow Journey: Heal The Past - Heal the Present

A 75 MINUTE EXPERIENTIAL SESSION

The Shadow - What we find difficult to accept in ourselves, what triggers us in others, has more than just psychological childhood roots. Its origins are located deeply in the Traumas of the past generations.

What affected the survival and the well being of past generations, influences what is acceptable for those who wish to belong to the family and the culture.

What we push to the Shadow, strongly influences our life, choices and all our personal and professional relationships.

In this 75 minutes experiential exploration, Nir Esterman will teach you some of the ways the Shadow affects our life, and then lead you through a journey that will take you from one of your current life inter-personal issues to its possible source in the history of your family. Bringing healing to that place, may allow for a deep embodied change in your current life situation.
