Polyvagal Trauma Therapy Certificate
Trauma shapes how the nervous system detects safety and danger.
When that detection system becomes biased toward threat, survival responses interrupt connection — reinforcing the original wound, altering perception, and maintaining dysregulation.
This Polyvagal Trauma Therapy Certificate trains you to read, understand, and reorganize those autonomic patterns so clients can safely move from protection into access to the full range of human experience — connection, curiosity, intimacy, and coherent engagement — where healing and transformation become possible.
A structured clinical model for safely sequencing trauma recovery through somatic therapy — through the nervous system.
Gathering Ourselves: Healing and Wholeness in Divisive Times
In our age of distraction and division, concentration practice offers a path toward inner unity and collective healing. Join renowned meditation teacher Sharon Salzberg as she guides us in gathering our scattered energies, mind, body, and heart, into a cohesive whole through lecture and guided practice.
As we begin to more fully collect our disperse energies, steadying the nervous system and cultivating a calm, embodied presence, we discover that concentration is not withdrawal, but a return to wholeness and compassionate engagement with the world.
The Body as Resource: Using Posture and Self-Touch to Integrate Parts
This webinar explores the benefits, risks, and considerations of developing a more upright posture as a resource with trauma survivors, with the goal of promoting well-being without overriding parts of the self represented by a more slumped posture. The use of mindfulness is illustrated throughout a videoed therapy session vignette, and several interventions are demonstrated: grounding and self-touch, contrasting upright with slumped stances, drawing on the therapeutic relationship, and creating homework. This vignette illustrates how to enable an upright posture while supporting integration and communication between parts.

The Somatic Intelligence of Dreams: How Dream States Help the Nervous System Resolve Overwhelm & Trauma
Dreams often bring powerful emotions, vivid images, and strong sensations in the body. Interestingly, these are the same elements that appear when the nervous system begins to somatically release overwhelm and trauma. In this class we will explore the somatic intelligence of dreaming and its deep connection to the body. Rather than analyzing dreams only for meaning, we will learn how to return to them through sensation, emotion, and imagery. By revisiting dreams in this way, they can become powerful somatic doorways for insight, nervous system settling, and the completion of experiences the body is still trying to resolve. Both clinicians and those on a personal healing journey can benefit from this offering.

Tools for Anxiety Summit
Calm the Nervous System. Heal the Root Causes. Build a Lasting Relationship with Peace.
Anxiety doesn’t arise from nowhere. It lives in the body, in the nervous system, in childhood wounds, in inherited family patterns — and in the invisible weight of absorbing too much from the world around you.
The Tools for Anxiety Summit brings together leading voices in psychiatry, somatic healing, naturopathic medicine, trauma therapy, and integrative care to explore how anxiety is actually resolved — not through willpower or positive thinking alone, but through practical, body-informed tools that work at the root.

Room to Breathe: Widening Your Window of Tolerance
What does it feel like to have more room ~ more capacity to stay present, grounded, and connected even under pressure? This workshop invites clinicians into an exploration of the Window of Tolerance (aka Window of Capacity or Ventral Vagal) through a Polyvagal lens, examining how the nervous system contracts under stress and how we can gently and sustainably expand it. Drawing on an integrative range of practices, participants will discover multiple entry points into regulation and ventral vagal states — tools that are as nourishing for the clinician as they are transformative for clients.

Wired for Connection: Somatic Pathways to Relational Repair
Human beings are wired for connection, yet meaningful communication can quickly become difficult when the nervous system perceives threat. In those moments, the body automatically organizes around survival. Attention narrows, physiology shifts, and the capacity for curiosity, listening, and collaboration can diminish.
When this happens, conversations that matter most—those involving conflict, vulnerability, or repair—often derail. Instead of the exchange we hoped for, the interaction may escalate into argument, collapse into silence, or dissolve into avoidance.
In this live workshop with Peter A. Levine, PhD, developer of Somatic Experiencing®, participants will explore how communication difficulties often originate in the body’s survival physiology. Drawing from decades of clinical observation and the principles of Somatic Experiencing®, Dr. Levine will illustrate how developing awareness of bodily responses and supporting nervous system stability can help restore the conditions needed for authentic dialogue, collaboration, and relational repair.

From Freeze to Flow: Creativity, Somatics & Trauma Healing
When we experience trauma, the body often enters states of freeze, collapse, or repetitive holding patterns that limit our ability to feel, express, and dream. Yet within each of us lives a creative intelligence—somatic, emotional, and imaginal—that knows how to adapt, reconnect, and find new pathways toward healing.
In this Master Class, we explore how the integration of movement, somatics, and creative expression can support the transition from stuckness to flow. Drawing from the Halprin Life/Art Process®, depth psychology, and contemporary trauma-informed practices, Dr. Rosario Sammartino guides participants through experiential activities designed to awaken movement, expand internal resources, and reconnect with embodied imagination.
Embodied Relationships Summit: Building Secure Love & Healing Attachment Wounds
Build Secure Love. Heal Attachment Patterns. Deepen your relationship with yourself and others.
Relationships don’t fall apart because people don’t care.
They unravel because nervous systems, attachment patterns, and old relational wounds take over — often beneath conscious awareness.
The Embodied Relationships Summit brings together leading voices in attachment, psychology, neuroscience, and embodied healing to explore how secure love is actually built — not through insight alone, but through practical tools for regulation, repair, and transforming relational dynamics.
This summit offers a grounded, compassionate, and practical roadmap for understanding why relationships get stuck — and how to move toward connection that is stable, emotionally safe, and sustainable, both internally and relationally. LEARN MORE HERE
IFS-Informed Somatic Trauma Therapy
Trauma fragments the self. It disrupts memory networks, hijacks the nervous system, and leaves behind protective parts that work overtime to shield us from pain. While these survival strategies are adaptive, over time they can create cycles of disconnection, hypervigilance, depression, and shame. Healing requires more than managing symptoms — it requires integrating the fragmented parts of the self and restoring safety in the body.
This 10-module certificate with Dr. Frank Anderson (psychiatrist, author) with guest faculty Dr. Janina Fisher, Dr. Arielle Schwartz, Fran Booth, Kai Cheng Thom, Deran Young, Wayne Baker, Linda Thai and Dr. Scott Lyons, offers a powerful integration of Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and neuroscience. Through lectures, live demonstrations, case consultations, and experiential learning, you’ll gain the skills to track fragmentation, work with protective and wounded parts, and restore safety and coherence in the body and mind.

Food Therapy: The Role of Nutrition in Trauma Recovery
For years, nutritionist and somatic educator Luis Mojica has been asking people, “What did you have for breakfast?” That’s because he knows food is therapy, and the choices we make each day impact our capacity to heal from anxiety, stress, and trauma. Food can feel like the problem and the balm, but it always reveals when - and often why - we’re out of balance.
In his upcoming book, Food Therapy: Conscious Eating to Navigate Anxiety, Stress, and Trauma (published by Hay House in April 2026), Luis shares this wisdom with us with personal experiences woven in. He also offers a groundbreaking approach to eating to support the nervous system, adrenals, and glucose balance. When we learn how nutrition impacts our emotions and our bodies, every food choice becomes an opportunity to shift internal biochemistry and support our goals, both internal and external.

Shame & Pride: Coming to the Authentic Self
Join Peter A. Levine, PhD, creator of Somatic Experiencing® (SE), for a grounded and in-depth exploration of shame and pride through the lens of the body. Chronic shame is not merely psychological—it is a deeply embodied, autonomic pattern shaped by trauma, rupture, and loss of connection. In this program, Peter reveals how shame collapses posture, physiology, and spirit, and how its physiological opposite—pride, dignity, and triumph—can be cultivated somatically. Through learnable skills in body reading, tracking, and relational attunement, participants will explore through live demonstration and review how shame can be transformed into self-respect, self-compassion, and an authentic sense of Self.

Integrative Somatic Parts Work Master Class
For many clients, trauma leaves a devastating impact, including debilitating symptoms, damaged relationships, and fragmentation from their former self. It can cause them to feel split inside, with parts oppressed, polarised, dissociated, hidden, and exiled, as they navigate the pain and devastation.
Through presentation and guided exploration, participants will examine various parts maps along the parts continuum, from adaptive and conscious parts to fragmented and dissociated states. You’ll understand how trauma and developmental injuries influence the predictive brain, embodiment, and relational functioning. Rooted in interoceptive wisdom and somatic practices, we will explore strategies for recognising, engaging with, and integrating different parts. The masterclass will focus on building safety and guiding you towards greater coherence, confidence, resilience, and wholeness.
IFS and Spirituality
In this workshop, Dr. Richard Schwartz presents emerging perspectives on the intersection of Internal Family Systems and experiences often described as spiritual or transpersonal. Drawing from decades of clinical work, he explores phenomena that extend beyond traditional psychological models, including experiences of Self-energy and supportive inner or ancestral presences. Through experiential exercises, guided practice and demo videos, participants will consider how these findings expand our understanding of consciousness, healing, and connection within the IFS framework.
Trauma and Memory with Peter A. Levine, PhD
During your time together, Dr. Levine will be working live with a demonstration client, giving you the rare opportunity to witness his approach in real time. In a follow-up session, he’ll revisit the recording and walk you through his process step by step—sharing the insights, choices, and somatic nuances that aren’t always visible in the moment. This powerful combination allows you to feel the immediacy of the live work and then deepen your understanding through his thoughtful debrief, creating a more personal and connected learning experience.
