Release Generational Trauma Tension


A 75 MINUTE EXPERIENTIAL SESSION

When the body is retaining stress and trauma for years, decades, or generations, it develops a trauma retention. This workshop will help you understand ways in which trauma gets captured in the body through generational trauma tension points and how the body can also be a source of liberation from that pain. Dr. Mariel will offer several practices that can help release the stress captured by the past.

Embody Your Innate Wisdom: A practice for life movement, healing, integration, and empowerment


A 75-MINUTE EXPERIENTIAL SESSION

This workshop will help you release what is no longer serving your highest self, so you can consciously embody and receive more joy, vitality, and abundance. Michelle will guide the group through a short meditation along with her “Moving with Innate Wisdom” movement practice, designed to help you connect with the intuitive wisdom that is always guiding you to your fullest expression, highest potential, and best health. Participants will also have the option of receiving energy balancing/coaching support in the “hot seat” with Michelle, where the individual becomes a representation of the healing possible for the entire group.

Foot Overlooking Tears: An Embodied Journey Through the Poetry of Chinese Medicine


A 75-MINUTE EXPERIENTIAL SESSION

As we approach the winter solstice, marking the symbolic death and rebirth of the sun, we are offered the reminder that we too can “die” and be “reborn,” that we too can release and start anew.

In this journey, participants will be guided through movements of the body, the breath, and the mind, inspired by the poetry of the points and the pathways of Chinese medicine.

This practice will support us in creating a more spacious inner environment in which our qi can flow more freely, we can listen more deeply, and open up to our experience more fully. As a support for healing and growth, we will practice emptying, nourishing, transforming, releasing, nurturing, letting be, and liberating our imaginations to seek and to sense ever deepening connections with ourselves and with our world.

Body-Based Practice for Emotional Resiliency


A 75 MINUTE EXPERIENTIAL SESSION

When we connect to our emotions as a body-based experience, as sensation, we grow our relationship to Self and teach our nervous system what is safe to feel, and process. This is healing. But even getting to that point requires we create an internal landscape that is stable enough to hold the big sensations associated with our emotions. Come and take that first step, and explore different movement techniques that work with the body's systems to restore regulation and energy flow, so ultimately, the path to feeling becomes possible.
