ABOUT THIS MASTER CLASS

Since ancient times, all around the world, lineage of embodied practice have cultivated equanimity: The ability to move through conflicting truths, paradoxes, and contradictions with grace and compassion. In today's hyper-polarized world, we are enmeshed in a constant barrage of digital information and perspectives all competing for our attention, and ability to practice equanimity is more essential than ever.

Join transformational somatic coach, Qualified Mediator, and somatic sex educator Kai Cheng Thom for this Master Class on somatic practices for embodied equanimity— learning how to find our center and dance gracefully with the multiple truths that exist within and all around us. This class will be particularly helpful for those struggling with current-day social conflicts, or for practitioners who are looking for somatic strategies to facilitate challenging group dynamics.


ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

Kai Cheng Thom


Kai Cheng Thom, MSW, MSc, is a certified Somatic Sex Educator, Qualified Mediator, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Professional Coach based in tkaronto/Toronto. She is also the author of five award-winning books in various genres. Kai Cheng's work focuses on the intersection of social justice, pleasure activism, and transformative approaches to healing conflict. A noted speaker and practitioner of somatic wellness, healing, and group process facilitation, Kai Cheng supports individuals and groups who are seeking to repair relationships and make transformative change. She also teaches as Adjunct Faculty at the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education.
